PlantTriage® Shadow Server helps to maintain the
security of the Process Control Network (PCN). Users on the
Business Network connect to the Shadow Server. The
Shadow Server replicates the data and the browser functionality of
a PlantTriage server.

Isolate the Control Network
Plant business LAN users only have access to the Shadow Server.
The PlantTriage server is safely isolated on the other side of a
firewall.
- Business-side clients have no access to the Control LAN.
- All web client demand is handled by the Shadow Server.
- Data is automatically replicated through a secure
connection.
Minimize Server Load
The Shadow Server off-loads demand from the PlantTriage Server.
All web clients are served directly from the Shadow Server. This
includes:
- Serving web pages
- Reports & Trends
- Dashboards
- Subscription Services
System Requirements
The Shadow Server can connect to any:
- PlantTriage Server
- PlantTriage Enterprise Server
Hardware should be identical to a typical PlantTriage Server.
